New Independent Documentary Illustrates The Contrasts of Cultures In Regard To Hunger, and The Use of Hoodia.
The documentary Silent Killer which took three years to make tackles the issue of how to fight World hunger.
What does this have to do with Hoodia? Well the opening scene starts off in the Kalahari Desert where most Hoodia Cactus is grown, and talks about how the famished Kalahari Bushman use the plant to fight off the crippling hunger they face from lack off food.
It's a real eye opener when you realized that in the US, Europe, and a few other Counties people are dying from eating to much while in other parts of the world there are people starving to death.
