One of the most common questions i get from people is "Do carb blockers Really work"?
And the answer is No, carb blockers do not work. At best they *might* slow down the digestion of carbohydrates, but your body is still going to eventually break down the carbs and store them as fat.
Carb blockers are just a bunch of Beans
Carb blockers, are usually made from 4,000mg - 8,000mg of white kidney bean and wheat germ extracts, and cost arround $25 for a 1 month supply. (Pretty expensive for bean pills if you ask me.)
How do carb blockers claim to work?
They claim to inhibit digestive enzymes responsabel for breaking down carbohydrates. And in theory this prevents the carbs from being absorbed into your body.
The carbs are then said to pass right through your digestive tract and out your body. Most pills claim to stop between 35 and 50 grams of carbs from being absorbed into your body.
Why you should avoid carb blockers
There is no such pill that will allow you to feast on bread and pasta and not gain weight. If there was nobody would be obese.
The only way to lose weight is to either cut back on the amount of food you eat, or excersise like a maniac. And if your like most people you don't have time to spend 6 hours a day at the gym working out so the best approach is to cut back on the amount of food you eat.
