Caralluma fimbriata - is another cactus that might aid in weight loss
It turns out that hoodia isn't the only cactus that can help you lose weight.
Caralluma fimbriata, which is also in the succulent / cactus family of plants, and like hoodia has been used as an appetite suppressant for 100's of years.
But Caralluma doesn't grow in Africa, instead it can be found in India.
Caralluma is said to not only control hunger, but block certain enzymes that stop the formation of fat and forces your body to burn stored body fat.
Right now there are no Caralluma products that I've been able to find, but if this stuff works like the early research claims it does it could the next big thing in weight loss.
I'll be keeping an eye out for anything that contains Caralluma. If I find anything I'll post it on my hoodia blog
