Services are offered in person at 2255 Carling Ave. Suite104 (inside Advance Chiropractic) and 5929 Jeanne D’Arc, Unit 28 (inside Personal Pace Fitness) or long-distance by telephone and email. By raising money for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation through the $-A-Pound Healthy Weight Loss Challenge participants can benefit by improving their own quality of life while helping improve the lives of those fighting cancer at the same time.
Last year, The Ottawa Hospital Regional Cancer Centre cared for over 6,000 new cancer patients. By 2010, the lifetime risk of developing cancer for all of us will approach 50%. At the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation we believe that the magnitude and complexity of the problem exceeds the capacity of a single organization. That is why we partner with health care charities, cancer associations and community leaders like those who invested time and energy in organizing this event to generate resources in support of cancer providers in our community.
